To process your orders and provide a personalized shopping experience, we collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identity & contact data: Your full name, delivery/shipping address, telephone number, and email address.
• Account data: If you register, we store your email address, full name, phone number (when provided), purchase history, marketing preferences, and legal consent records linked to your Shoplendo account. Passwords are managed by our authentication provider (stored securely as hashes there); Shoplendo does not store your password on our servers.
• Technical & usage data: Browser type, device specifications, operating system, and how you interact with our website — including product views, searches, and cart and wishlist activity sent to our servers, and (where you accept advertising cookies) data collected via Meta and TikTok tracking pixels. We may process IP addresses transiently for security and rate limiting but do not retain them in our databases.
• Financial data: We do not store credit card numbers or card security codes on our servers. Card payments are completed on our licensed payment partner's secure hosted checkout (presented as Areeba at Shoplendo). We retain payment status and transaction references only.
• Storage & cookies: We use browser local storage and session storage for essential functions (sign-in session, shopping cart, language, and consent preferences). Analytics and advertising cookies or pixels (including Meta and TikTok) load only after you consent via our cookie banner. We process your personal information strictly for legitimate business purposes, including:

• Contractual fulfillment: Processing your transactions, verifying your payment via Areeba, and updating you on your order status. Where you choose cash payment at our Beirut office, we process your transaction in person, issue a signed receipt, and record the payment in our accounting system.
• Logistics & delivery: Sharing your contact and address details with our supply chain network to execute international transit and last-mile delivery.
• Customer support: Resolving technical checkout bugs, tracking refunds, and answering product warranty inquiries.
• Platform optimization: Analyzing browsing and purchase trends (including first-party product events) to improve the website, recommendations, and user experience.
• Marketing & advertising: Where you opt in to marketing emails, we may send promotional messages. With your advertising cookie consent, we load Meta and TikTok pixels to measure campaigns and deliver relevant ads; those platforms may collect their own usage data under their policies.

Shoplendo operates an international e-commerce framework. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your personal data (name, address, and phone number) will be securely transferred across borders to the following verified parties:

• Our Chinese export agent: To prepare shipping labels, compile export customs manifests, and arrange freight logistics in Mainland China.
• Importer of record: Shoplendo, operated via Global Enterprise (Lebanon), acts as the Importer of Record at Lebanese customs and manages regional distribution. Last-mile delivery, including customer contact for scheduling, is executed by our dedicated local delivery firm under contract with Shoplendo.
• Advertising platforms (Meta, TikTok): To measure ad performance and deliver targeted advertising, as described in Section 2.

We enforce strict data processing agreements with these corporate partners to ensure your data is handled securely and is never sold to third-party marketing firms.

• Platform encryption: Shoplendo utilizes industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption to secure all data transmissions between your browser and our servers.
• Retention policy: We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the commercial purposes outlined in this policy, or to comply with mandatory statutory, tax, and anti-money laundering archiving laws in Lebanon. Compliance-related records (including AML/KYC and transaction data) are retained for a minimum of five years, consistent with Lebanese AML/KYC policy.

Under Lebanese Law No. 81/2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data, you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, and to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your data — including processing for marketing or commercial promotion purposes — unless you have consented to such processing.

Shoplendo does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
